ILARIA DELLA BIDIA
Italian singer, pianist, composer and songwriter
About Ilaria
Born in Lucca, in the heart of Tuscany, Ilaria Della Bidia is a versatile artist whose work combines classical training, contemporary sensitivity and a strong international vocation. She graduated in piano from the “L. Boccherini” Conservatory in Lucca and began her artistic journey at a young age, leading her to perform on stages around the world.
As a singer, pianist, performer and songwriter, she has appeared on major Italian television and radio programs and has performed in prestigious international venues across Europe, the United States, Asia, Russia and Africa, presenting projects that integrate music, spoken word, dance and visual elements within a multidisciplinary artistic vision.
Since 2011, she has collaborated extensively with Maestro Andrea Bocelli as a Guest Pop Artist, taking part in world tours, festivals and special events, and representing Italian artistic excellence on the international stage.
A polyglot artist deeply passionate about the cultures she encounters, Ilaria sings and records in numerous languages — including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Armenian, Arabic, Hebrew, Russian and Swahili — in addition to Italian and English, contributing to multilingual recording projects as a tribute to the countries that have welcomed her throughout her artistic journey.
She is widely regarded as an ambassador of Italian culture worldwide and regularly collaborates with Embassies, Italian Cultural Institutes and official international events. Among her most recent appearances, she was featured in the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Singapore, where she presented a preview of her upcoming album LUX.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with world-renowned artists such as David Foster, John Legend, Lionel Richie, Reba McEntire, Sophia Loren, Smokey Robinson, in addition to Andrea Bocelli, who has written of her:
“An extraordinary profile, set in an ethically firm and clear personality, Ilaria besides being a woman of the utmost integrity, is also a refined musician, a person of great human and artistic depth…
…considering the musical and human talents of this young artist, I would anticipate, for her, a bright future full of satisfaction.”
